The Da Nang People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement cultural diplomacy by 2025.

The plan aims to promote the achievements in implementing cultural diplomacy strategies by 2020’, continue to improve the efficiency of cultural diplomacy activities in the city, promote the city's image to the world and bring its relationships with partners into depth, stability and sustainability, thereby contributing to building Da Nang into one of the cultural centres in Viet Nam.

In an effort to realise the above-mentioned targets, the municipal government has required agencies to promote their initiative, improve coordination efficiency, and mobilize strength to deploy synchronously and flexibly the national cultural diplomacy development strategy by 2030’ approved by the Prime Minister and the city's own plans.

Da Nang has identified tasks and solutions in fostering cultural diplomacy by 2025: linking cultural diplomacy with political diplomacy, promoting the connection between cultural diplomacy and overseas Vietnamese-related affairs, linking cultural diplomacy with people-to-people diplomacy, enhance cultural values, the image and people of Da Nang, diversify and accelerate international heritages and titles, absorb the cultural quintessence of humanity and fostering human resources for cultural diplomacy activities.
