Art exhibition tell story about livelihoods on rivers in Da Nang
A cultural and art exhibition themed ‘Lenh Denh’ (Drifting) with the aim of spreading Da Nang’s traditional cultural values is running from February 19 - 27 at 130 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Hai Chau District.
Launched by the ‘Da Nang Tui’ (My Da Nang) group in collaboration with the the British Council, the exhibition tells the story of the people who make a living on the river, and about coracles and the fishery.
To spread the time-honoured cultural value of the Da Nang fishing village, the organisers use both traditional to modern arts forms to recreate the life at sea of fishermen.
In addition, the watercolour, pixel art, holograms, and augmented reality technology are used to enhance the viewer's experience.
Established in 2017, the ‘Da Nang Tui’ brings together young people dwelling in Da Nang who possess a strong passion for culture and arts.
Previously, the group carried out 2 exhibitions, attracting thousands of people, especially youths.
