59 works win municipal-level Literature and Arts Awards

A total of 59 works have won the 4th Da Nang Literature and Arts Awards.

In particular, eight Prizes A have been given out to outstanding entries, including "A COVID-19 control and border protection post” by photographer Huynh Van Truyen, "Ancient Hoi An" by painter Nguyen Tuong Vinh, and "Up and Down" by Meritorious Artist Phan Hong Ha.

Prizes B have been awarded for the painting "Vietnamese ATM" by painter Ho Dinh Nam Kha, the song "Missing Moon Boy” composed by musician Pham Quang Trung, "The riddle of Quang" by researcher Dinh Thi Huu, etc.

In addition, 19 Prizes C and 16 consolation prizes have been awarded to authors and groups of authors with quality works.

In particular, this year’s Literature - Art Awards have additionally awarded prizes for works for children such as "Wild Dog" by writer Bui Tu Luc, anthology "119 children's rhyming games" by researcher Trinh Tuan Khanh, and a dancing programme "Bird of the highlands" by artist Phan Thi Hue.

The awards ceremony is slated to be held on April 28 at the Da Nang Children's Palace.
