The event is joint coordination between the Alumni Liaison Committee of Hue University of the Arts and the Da Nang Fine Arts Association to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2022) and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Hue University of Arts (1957 - 2022).
The 45 on-display art works were created by artists and sculptures who were alumni and lecturers of Hue University of Arts and all of them now live and work in Da Nang, including painter Hoang Dang, sculptor Nguyen Van Ham, the former Deputy Director of the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and painter Ho Dinh Nam Kha.
According to the Da Nang Fine Arts Association, the art works on display at the event are diverse in materials, rich in style, and especially express the artists' deep feelings towards the beauty of nature, land and people of Viet Nam.
