The district is carrying out many practical activities such as art book display and arrangement, and book cover painting contests, and presentations about favorite book, building up community-based bookcases in 10 wards.
Besides, more than 20 excellent paintings by primary school students across the district are on display to the general public. The district, in collaboration with Da Nang General Science Library, is operating mobile book carts to serve readers in the district.
The Viet Nam Book and Reading Culture Day celebrations in Thanh Khe District in 2022 serve as premise for the District Youth Union, the Culture - Sports Centre and the Education and Training Office to continuously boost their collaboration in organising programmes and events to lift reading culture in the district.
In particular, the district’s authorities plan, in the coming time, to organise a number of more highly-practical activities such as a seminar on developing reading culture in the district and a theatrical competition entitled ‘Cultural Ambassador of the Treasure of Folk Tales’/
