On the occasion of the 47^th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2022), the Political Department of Military Region 5 on Friday launched a thematic exhibition ‘Great Spring Victory 1975 – Viet Nam's strength’.

On display at the exhibition are more than 200 documents, images and artifacts, focusing on such contents as the expanded conference of the Politburo (1974-1975) to discuss the strategy for the , documents on the Paris Peace Accords, the 21^st meeting of the Central Committee of the Party (July 1973) and the economic recovery achievements in 1973 and 1974.

The exhibition also introduces to the public the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising culminating with the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, Central Highlands Campaign (March to April 1975), the Hue - Da Nang Campaign (March 1975) and resounding Great Spring Victory 1975.

With a rich and meaningful system of documents and artifacts, the exhibition is attracting a large number of officers, soldiers of the city-based armed forces and students in the city.

The exhibition runs until May 20.
