As part of the on-going Hai Chau Village Communal House Festival 2022, some exciting activities took place across Hai Chau District on Friday morning.

Specifically, a drawing contest entitled ‘I Love Da Nang’ was organised at the APEC Sculpture Park.

The contest attracted more than 100 students from 20 primary schools in the district. Its purpose was to promote the creativity and painting talent amongst primary school pupils. All entries showed deep gratitude to frontline soldiers, doctors and nurses in the city’s battle against COVID-19, thereby upholding the spirit of solidarity, and mutual love and help among people.

Also at the park, 12^th graders across the district competed in the ‘I’m narrator’ competition. Contestants together vividly introduced and recreated stories about historical sites in the locality.

Meanwhile, visitors to a rural fair at the campus of the Hai Chau Village Communal House had the opportunity to purchase up to 50 high-quality Vietnamese goods at reasonable prices, such as 'cha bo' (beef paste), ‘tre’ (a kind of fermented pork) and traditional handicrafts.

The fair aimed to honour the value of typical local products, as well as contribute to promoting supply - demand connection and market consumption of products produced by businesses affected by COVID-19 in the district.

The Hai Chau Village Communal House Festival 2022 is being held on April 8 and 9. It aims to improve the quality of the organisation of some typical cultural events in the district, and effectively restore the local economy after COVID-19.

It is known that on Saturday morning, solemn traditional ceremonies, including an incense offering ceremony in commemoration of national heroes and ancestors, were held at the Hai Chau Village Communal House.
