The Viet Nam Basketball Federation in partner with the Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports, on Wednesday, held a closing ceremony of the 2022 National U18 Basketball Championship (5x5 format) in the city.

After more than a week of exciting competition at the Tien Son Sports Arena, in the 5x5 men's event, the home team Da Nang beat 12 strong competitors nationwide to become the champions of this year’s event.

The second prize went to Ha Noi, whilst the third prizes were shared by Ho Chi Minh City Club and ASA x AEG.

In the 5x5 women's event, Can Tho won the first prize, and Ha Noi finished in the second place. The third prizes went to Da Nang and Yen Bai.

The 2022 National U18 Basketball Championship provided an opportunity for young basketball players to exchange, and learn from experience in competitions, as well as for the organisers to detect and select talented basketball pitchers for the city’s high-achievement basketball teams.
