A musical programme themed ‘Son Tra - A Beloved Locality’ took place in Da Nang’s Son Tra District on Sunday evening.

Organised by the district authorities, the event aimed to promote the beauty of the land and people of Son Tra District and its twinning units, as well as mark the 193^rd death anniversary of the talented Vietnamese General Nguyen Van Thoai, also known as Thoai Ngoc Hau (1829-2022).

During the programme, visitors were treated to 15 enchanted singing and dancing performances showcasing the beauty of the land and people of Son Tra District and its twinning units.

The performances not only spread the diversity, richness and unique interference between the cultural features of each locality, but also expressed spirit of good solidarity for their mutual development.

Over the past years, Son Tra District has established the bilateral twinning relations with An Giang Province’s Thoai Son District, Vinh Long Province’s Vung Liem District, Hai Phong City’s Hai An District and Thai Binh Province’s Kien Xuong District.
