The collection of 145 folk paintings comprises 4 Hang Trong, 14 Kim Hoang and 78 Dong Ho paintings, 21 Hue hand-painted world maps and 28 Hue glass paintings.

Most of the paintings in this collection are made by famous artists of traditional painting villages with a long history of development in Viet Nam. Among them are many large-format paintings with high aesthetic value like the set of To Nu, Nghe and Kieu paintings.

Currently, researcher and collector Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa is still on track to make more collections and donate them to the Da Nang museum on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23 as well as the following batches, in order to help it build up an increasingly rich and vivid collection of Vietnamese folk paintings.

According to the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts, the collection of folk paintings that the museum has just received from the Mrs. Hoa boasts great historical and cultural value. It is a valuable resource for the museum in preserving and promoting the country's artistic heritage values.
