Winners of floral displays and lighting decorations in Tet 2022 announced

Winners of a contest to find the best ideas for floral displays and lighting decorations in Da Nang for the Tet Festival 2023 has been published on the municipal Department of Construction’s website.

The contest attracted 25 entries, 13 of which were floral decorations and the remainder were about electrical lighting designs created by a total of 70 architecture students from the universities of Da Nang Science and Technology, Architecture and Duy Tan and a consulting design consulting enterprise.

Through the preliminary and final rounds of ranking, the selection committee of the contest unanimously selected 6 winning entries each for ‘flower displays’ and lighting decorations’ categories with the award structure comprising one first, one second, one third and 3 consolation prizes for each categories.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Director of the Da Nang Department of Construction, Chairman of the Selection Council Phung Phu Phong said that it is expected that in early 2023, the municipal government will launch a contest with a larger scale and higher quality requirements to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the contest.

To mark this occasion, Mono Bogo Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated VND200 million to the contest's organisers for next event in Tet (traditional Vietnamese New Year) festival 2024.
