Donated artifacts go on display at Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts

Valuable artifacts that the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts has collected from donors from both home and abroad since the start of this year are being displayed here until November 25.

The museum has received nearly 260 donated artifacts, namely 240 folk paintings by researcher and collector Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa from the capital city of Ha Noi,  17 collected from artist Vu Trong Thuan Vietnamese overseas French and 2 from artisan Nam Chi, a native of Ha Noi.

Artifacts donated on this occasion have been treasured by artists, collectors and artisans over the years. They decided to donate them to the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, expressing their earnest desire to make contributions to the museum's rich sources of materials and artifacts through such outstanding donations.

This is a meaningful action, contributing to spreading the movement of donating objects, as well as calling for the community to join hands in the cause of preserving and preserving the cultural and artistic heritage of the homeland.

To celebrate Viet Nam's Cultural Heritage Day in 2022, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum has introduced to the public 61 artifacts donated this year. The exhibits on display are of various types, from folk to gilded bronze paintings, along with tools used in fine arts.
