A large number of Vietnamese and Lao students have taken part in a cultural exchange programme in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District.

The programme has featured a wide range of exciting folklore games, Vietnamese-Lao cuisine stalls, and cultural exchange activities.

It has been a useful playground, contributing to enhancing understanding, solidarity and friendship between the youth of Viet Nam and Laos.

On the occasion, the Hai Chau District authorities have presented Certificates and gifts to 12 Lao students and 12 households in the locality together joining the home-stay programme for Laos students.

Also, the Thanh Khe District chapter of the Da Nang Youth Union has coordinated with the district’s Culture and Sports Center to organize the Viet Nam - Laos Cultural Exchange Festival in 2022, attracting much attention from Youth Union members, young people and Lao students living and studying in the district.

The festival goers have had the opportunity to take part in varieties of exciting cultural exchange activities, including ‘Lam Vong’ dance -the traditional dance of Laos, badminton, table tennis, tug of war, and a cooking contest.

On the occasion, the city branch of the Viet Nam - Laos Friendship Association has awarded certificates of participation in the home-stay programme for Laos students in 2022 to some Lao participants and households in Thanh Khe District.
