Da Nang Fine Arts 2022 honours 6 best works

The Da Nang Fine Arts Association on Saturday afternoon worked with the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum to kick off an exhibition themed 'Da Nang Fine Arts 2022' and honour 6 best works.

The exhibition is taking place at the Fine Arts Museum, 78 Le Duan, and it will run through January 6, 2023. The 28-day event brings together 40 works of 30 painters and sculptors who are members and collaborators of the city’s Fine Arts Association. The displayed works feature different materials and styles, creating a colourful picture of Da Nang's fine arts in 2022.

To mark this occasion, 6 best works were honoured with prizes. In detail, the work ‘Childhood’ by painter Nguyen Thi Dao received the first prize while second prize was awarded jointly to the work ‘Pray’ by artist Tran Van Tam and ‘Fly High’ by painter Bao Tan. In addition, the work "Happy Day" by artist Nguyen Tan Kiet, ‘Memories of a Kite’ by artist Nguyen Duy Ninh and "The Young Ages’ by artist Dang Thi Phuong shared the third prize.

The Da Nang Fine Arts Association launches its annual awards with the aim of encouraging creativity among artists and sculptors across the city and and honor their best works, contributing to promoting the development of the city's fine arts movement.
