Da Nang to offer an array of exciting event welcoming New Year and Lunar New year 2023
An array of highly inviting activities will take place across Da Nang to welcome the New Year 2023, the Vietnamese traditional Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023 and the 93rd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.

Specifically, every Saturday, Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong (Classic drama) Theatre organises a traditional arts programme entitled ‘Heritage Road’ at the campus of the Da Nang International Airport.
From December 19 to 31, the Bien Dong (East Sea) Park based in Son Tra District, will be the location for many activities such as arts exhibitions and Countdown 2023 show.
On January 1, 2023, the Trung Vuong Theatre will organise the arts programme ‘Happy New Year 2023’ at the APEC Statue Garden.
On this occasion, the Da Nang Cinema - Culture Centre will treat locals and visitors with the ‘Welcome the New Year’ art performance programme at the western bank of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge.
On January 11, 2023, the ‘Memories of time’ arts programme will be held at the Da Nang Labour Culture House.
On January 14, 2023, the Da Nang Junior College of Culture and Arts will organise an art program to welcome to Tet 2023 at a park on the eastern bank of the Dragon Bridge.
On January 21, 2023 (New Year's Eve), the Trung Vuong Theatre will partner with the Son Tra District Culture and Information Centre to run a cultural programme to welcome the Lunar New Year 2023 at a park on the eastern bank of the Dragon Bridge.
On January 28, 2023, the Street Dance progarmme combined with air music performances of Vietnamese and international musical works will be held on Tran Hung Dao Street, Son Tra District,.
On the same day, the city’s Cinema - Culture Centre will also organise many programs such as street music, street magic shows at the western ends of the Dragon Bridge and Tran Thi Ly Bridge.
On January 29, 2023, the city’s Cinema and Culture Centre will organise a programme to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam. And welcome the Lunar New Year 2023 with the theme ‘Spring in the Fatherland’ and run the awards ceremony for the municipal Artistic Talent contest ‘Spring and youth’ at the APEC Statue Garden Park.
In January 2023, Da Nang Museum will organise the ‘Early Spring Festival’ programme featuring many folk games and activities to experience the traditional Tet.
It is expected that in February 2023, the city’s Cinema - Culture Centre will run a contemporary arts exhibition with the theme ‘The Art of Connection’.
In addition, from now until the beginning of next year, the municipal Department of Culture and Sports will create conditions for private units to organise many arts programmes to serve people and tourists such as ‘Tiger Remix 2023’, circus and magic shows.
