Da Nang will set off fireworks in 15 minutes to ring in the Lunar New Year 2023, aiming to create a joyful atmosphere, meet the cultural enjoyment needs of local residents and promote beautiful images of Da Nang to tourists.

The fireworks will be set off at 3 locations in Da Nang to ring in the Lunar New Year 2023

Specifically, the 15-minute pyrotechnic shows will take place at midnight on Lunar New Year’s Eve, which will fall on January 22, 2023, at the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, the Phuong Trang vacant land area in front of the Lien Chieu District Administrative Centre, and a vacant land area in front of the Hoa Vang District Administration Centre.

High-altitude, low-altitude and effect firecrackers will be utilised in the displays. Also, FireOne wireless system, which is the world's most advanced digital pyrotechnic firing and choreography system, will be applied in the launching of the fireworks.

The Da Nang Department of Culture and Sports will be responsible for monitoring of the implementation of the fireworks plan, and advising the municipal People's Committee regarding mobilizing businesses and economic organizations to fund the fireworks shows.

The Municipal Military Command will take the main responsibility for organizing fireworks, as well as well coordinating with relevant units to ensure the success and safety of the fireworks night. In which, at the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, it is necessary to ensure that the firework display will not affect the bridge structure and absolutely complies with the operating load of the bridge.

Local military and police officers will be assigned to patrol fireworks sites around the clock, and guarantee the safety of the audience in the night.

Relevant departments, branches, localities and units will coordinate together to ensure healthcare, electricity, lighting and environmental sanitation so that the fireworks shows can take place successfully.
