Co-organised by the Hoi An City authorities and the Thao Bach Viet Co., Ltd., the festival will feature a number of outstanding activities, including the display of models of ancient houses, and tea ceremony space.

The intention of the first-ever festival is to honour the historical values and unique cultural features of tea and Vietnamese tea-related products, as well as create a place for tea growing villages, tea artisans, and tea and tea-related product suppliers to meet and introduce their products to domestic and foreign tourists.

The festival is expected to be held annually, aiming to create a new tourism product combined with cultural, cuisine and holiday tourism of Hoi An City and Quang Nam Province, hereby contributing to preserving and promoting the development of Vietnamese tea culture.
