Two photographers in Da Nang have won C prizes at the Best Photography Awards 2022, the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists has announced.

They are photographer Ong Van Sinh with the ‘Da Nang's Memory and Present’ photo book, and photographer Huynh Van Truyen with his photo collection entitled ‘Cuoc Chien Voi Lua Ngay Mung 3 Tet’ (Battle with fire on 3^rd day of Tet).

The ‘Da Nang's Memory and Present’ photo book features more than 100 photos selected from thousands of ones captured during the photographer's entire life of working for more than 50 years.

Divided into two parts, the book gives viewers a comprehensive view of Da Nang during its construction and development process.

Meanwhile, photographer Huynh Van Truyen’s photo collection showcases images of fire prevention and fighting and rescue police who extinguished fires at the T-shaped wharf at the Tho Quang Fishing Port and Wharf in Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District, on the 3^rd day of Tet.

The series of photos reflect the high sense of responsibility and determination of the fire prevention and rescue police soldiers who were not afraid of danger to save the people's property.

According to the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists, there will be one Vapa Cup, one A prize, eight B prizes and eighteen C prizes at this year’s Best Photography Awards.
