Hosted by the district authorities, the first-ever festival aims to promote the image of Hoa Vang District, recreate the traditional cultural space of the nation, and attract more locals and tourists to visit and experience fun activities in spring.

The event is taking place at the district’s Administrative Center, on Quang Xuong Street and Tuy Loan night street until January 15.

Visitors to the festival can truly feel the atmosphere of traditional Tet with restored ancient houses to welcome in the Lunar New Year.

Also, they have the opportunity to participate in many fun folk games such as ‘bai choi’ (singing while acting as playing cards), as well as enjoy performances of traditional culinary craft villages, and calligraphy and couplet writing.

In addition, there are some stalls displaying Tet, OCOP and processed foods, handicrafts, textiles, fashion items, and flowers.

In addition, visitors can also enjoy dishes with Tet flavours, a ‘banh chung’ and ‘banh tet’ cooking competition, a contest to seek arts talents, and nightly arts programmes.
