Co-organised by the Hoang Sa District People’s Committee and the National Archives Center No.1, the exhibition is divided into 3 parts: Da Nang seaport bay - an important trading position under the Nguyen Dynasty; activities to ensure security in the waters of Da Nang - Quang Nam under the Nguyen Dynasty; and exercising sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago under the Nguyen Dynasty.
Apart from the nearly 100 documents featuring Da Nang’s role under the Nguyen Dynasty, the exhibition also showcases images and maps on Hoang Sa, including the latest maps of Hoang Sa Island District in Vietnamese and English published by the Publishing House of Natural Resources, Environment and cartography.
Additionally, there are photos capturing Da Nang’s economic activities at present, as well as the operations of maritime forces and fishermen at sea.
The ongoing exhibition aims to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the city's Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2023), and the 5th anniversary of the inauguration of the Hoang Sa Exhibition House.
