The event attendees discussed and clarified the importance of relics in preserving and promoting cultural values associated with contemporary life, as well as learned from other localities’ experience in mobilising resources to restore and preserve the cultural and historical value of relics.
Also at the event, a number of solutions to overcome limitations in conserving and promoting the value of relics in the district, and to build Hoa Vang into an urban area but still retaining its own nuances were proposed.
The seminar contributed to raising people's awareness in preserving the local culture in order to meet the needs of locals for cultural enjoyment.
Many presentations were presented at the event, with a focus on analysing the characteristics of the communal house in Da Nang, and discussing some solutions to preserve and promote the cultural values of communal houses in the context of urbanisation.
On the occasion, the Hoa Vang District People's Committee signed cooperation agreements on boosting the value of relics in the locality with the municipal Department of Education and Training, the Da Nang Radio and Television Station, the municipal Department of Tourism, and the city’s Tourism Association.
Hoa Vang District is now home to 33 ranked historical - cultural, architectural and artistic relics. Of those, there are 6 national-level, and 27 municipal-level relics, all of which have been restored and embellished.
