Viet Nam's image promoted to the world through photos and videos
The Department of External Information under the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications has just launched the ‘Happy Viet Nam’ annual photo and video contest in a bid to promote Vietnam’s accomplishments and achievements in the economy, culture and society fields through the diverse perspectives of individuals from both domestic and international backgrounds.

The contest aims to build an image of happy Viet Nam, expressing a close and heart-warming life in all regions. It is also an occasion for Vietnamese abroad and foreigners understand more about Vietnamese culture, come closer to each other and together building a prosperous Viet Nam.
At the same time, the contest honours individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the promotion of Viet Nam's image to the world. The contest is open to unlimited entries.
Awards worth more than VND400 million (US$17,000) will be granted by the organizers, including two top prizes valued at VND100 million ($4,250) each, two second prizes worth VND30 million ($1,275) each, two third prizes worth VND20 million ($850) each, and 20 consolation prizes, among others.
Participants aged 15 and above can find detailed information about the contest and submit their photos and videos online at https://happy.vietnam.vn from now till September 15, 2023.
