500,000 LED bulbs start to light Da Nang on July 12
With the permission of the Da Nang government, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Da Nang (JCCID) will work with relevant agencies to organise a lighting space with 500,000 LED lights at a park near the western end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge from July 12 to 23.

Accordingly, the space has a large-scale lighting system with 3 themes, namely Sakura Dom, Sakura garden and lotus pond. In particular, the sakura garden is arranged in a Japanese theme and the lotus pond is inspired by the lotus lake in Viet Nam.
The activity will run continuously for more than 10 days, creating conditions for both local residents and tourists to enjoy the colourful light space, and at the same time learn more about Japanese culture and people.
This is one of the activities to be held in the city to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Japan (1973-2023).
On this occasion, the Da Nang Da Nang government will join hands with the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang to organise the 8th Viet Nam - Japan Festival in Da Nang in 2023, taking place from July 13 to 16 at the Bien Dong (East Sea) Park.
