On Friday evening, the finale of the Da Nang folk dance, flashmob and modern dance festival in 2023 with the theme "Hello summer dance" took place in Da Nang, attracting a great deal of attention from both city dwellers and tourists.

The contest aims to create a healthy and useful playground for Youth Union members from wards, communes, universities and colleges in the summer, and at the same time, responding to festival activities on both sides of the Han River to attract locals and tourists during the ongoing peak tourist season.

The contest was held from May to July 2023 with 75 entries participating in the qualifying round. The organising committee selected 25 excellent performances for in the final round. The finalists competed in 2 categories: folk dance, flashmob; modern dancing.
