Highly-inviting film screening 'French cinema rendezvous' in Da Nang
French movies are being screened in Da Nang and 13 other Vietnamese cities and provinces in the hope of bringing Vietnamese audiences closer to French cinema's richness and diversity, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recently announced.

The film screening is under the French Institute in Viet Nam-organised "French cinema rendezvous" programme within the framework of audiovisual cooperation between Viet Nam and France from July 24 to December 31.
The programme are bing held in Da Nang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Ha Noi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Hue, Khanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Can Tho.
In Da Nang, the French movies, namely ‘Fire Training Secrets’, ‘The Umbrellas of Cherbourg’, ‘Bed with Victoria’ and ‘The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales’, are screened at the METIZ Cinema through July 29.
Information about each film is available on the websites and Facebook pages of METIZ Cinema and the French Institute in Viet Nam.
The screenings will start at 5.00 p.m. every Saturday, with tickets costing 75,000 VND.
In particular, the movies are shown with Vietnamese and English subtitles, suitable for families and children to enjoy relaxing moments during the weekend.
The leader of the Da Nang branch of the French Institute in Viet Nam said: “Our experience in quality live events or cultural exhibitions has proven that Danang people always want more opportunities to have access to a rich variety of art forms and we are happy to contribute to the cultural development of Da Nang!”
