The Sea Festival 2023 took place in front of the Ha Khe Square, Xuan Ha Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang on Saturday.

With many years of experience in the sea, fishermen from 3 districts of Son Tra, Thanh Khe and Lien Chieu enthusiastically participated in the coracle-shaking contest.

Co-organised by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches, the festival saw the participation of fishermen and members of Farmers' Associations in Son Tra, Thanh Khe and Lien Chieu districts.

Within the framework of the ongoing Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2023, the event aimed to recreate the life of coastal fishermen through many activities such as shaking coracles, carrying fish, rowing boats on the sand, and tug of war.

According to the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches, the festival aimed to diversify side events in the Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2023 in addition to creating a playground for local residents and visitors to experience and immerse themselves in fun and exciting activities at Da Nang beaches.
