On Friday, the Da Nang Association of Charities and Children's Rights Protection in collaboration with the Thai Binh Arms organisation opened a summer camp for poor studious pupils at the Village of Hope based in Thanh Khe District.

The camp attracts 160 pupils from grades 8 to 12 with good academic records from 9 central provinces from Nghe An to Binh Dinh and a province in the Mekong Delta of southern Viet Nam

The camp sees the participation of 160 poor studious pupils from grades 8 to 12 of 9 central provinces from Nghe An to Binh Dinh and a province in the Mekong Delta of southern Viet Nam.

During the 4-day camp, the participants are guided by experts in many fields in career and life skills, and have the opportunity to take part in cultural and artistic exchange activities.

The camp lasts until July 31.
