Planning strategies for sake of Marble Mountains' better face
The Da Nang authorities have announced the planning of preservation, renovation and restoration of the Marble Mountains special national relic site in line with the Prime Minister’s recent approval.

In addition, the Da Nang Management Board of Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project is in charge of identifying the scope of renovation and implementation schedule according to the Prime Minister- approved planning.
Also, local residents living within the planning area of preservation, restoration and restoration of this renowned scenic spot also presented their ideas on such issues as clearance, compensation and trade activities so as to develop additional attractive facilities here in accordance with the existing conditions.
Under the Prime Minister-approved planning for preservation, renovation and restoration of the Marble Mountains special national relic site, the planning scope, with an area of 1,049,701m2, is determined according to the map of zoning protected areas.
The content of the planning is divided into seven groups of projects, all of which will be implemented from 2023 to 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Notably, the architectural space and landscape are planned in the direction of preserving the original elements as much as possible and adding appropriate new identifying elements.
The aforementioned decision is an important legal basis for the Da Nang government to manage and protect the special national relic site in harmony with the requirements of the socio-economic development needs, as well as embellish and promote this spot’s values so that it can turn itself into an attractive cultural and entertainment space in the city.
