Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong highly appreciated managers of the BRG Da Nang Golf resort and some organising units for their great efforts in preparation for the forthcoming BRG Open Championship Da Nang 2023 after paying an inspection to the venue on Friday to check preparatory works for the tournament.

He also asked relevant units to complete a number of items that are being implemented, and the organisers to improve the technical issues and further promote communication activities.

In addition to available channels, it is necessary to promote visual promotion to attract the attention of people and tourists, especially those on the route from Da Nang to Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City. The brand identity activities of the tournament should be done early to attract the attention of people and tourists for the festival, Mr. Cuong added.

At the inspection, Mr. Mark Reeves, Director of Golf and Real Estate Business of BRG Group, gave preliminary information to the city leader and the inspection team about the locations where the tournament will take place and the viewing areas for visitors, especially the preparation for the exhibition and some games for visitors to experience.

It is known that the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2023, with the focus on the BRG Open golf Championship Da Nang 2023, is taking place from August 24 - September 2 with the participation of more than 140 golfers from such foreign countries as Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, the UK, Australia, Sweden, India and China.

During the festival, there are many attractive sideline activities, including golf tourism exhibition space at the APEC Sculpture Garden, international golf conference, golf tour famtrip, Pro-Am tournament, and food stall and golf exhibition at BRG golf course.
