The 1^st Lion and Dragon Dance Festival 2023 is taking place at the Da Nang- based APEC Sculpture Garden on Saturday and Sunday.

Hosted by the Hai Chau District authorities, the event aims to promote cultural and sports traditions, meet the people's cultural enjoyment need, enhance understanding, exchange and solidarity between localities, and promote and introduce lion and dragon dance arts.

Also, it contributes to creating cultural highlights in the festival axis of Bach Dang Street, and a joyful atmosphere, serving the entertainment needs of children to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival.

The festival attracts more than 10 lion and dragon groups in the city.
