In December, the Da Nang-based Trung Vuong Theater will hold its final show of the ‘Sing with me’ musical program which is the theater’s much awaited event of the year for local residents. Success of 9 previous shows of this exciting musical program which features various themes has enabled the Theater to become the city’s unmissable destination for high-quality music that helps music lovers relive beautiful memories with many levels of love and emotion.

As part of the city’s cultural events held along both banks of the Han River in 2023, the "Sing with Me" musical program which is co-hosted by the Trung Vuong Theater and the Hai Chau District Cultural and Sports Center takes place monthly at the APEC Sculpture Park with a variety of themes and shows.

At first glance, this musical program bears some resemblance to the reality TV show named ‘Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring Again’ which is conducted by Forest Studio, and has gone viral on social media, as well as has been cherished by young people.

However, this musical program sets itself apart with free live music, local artists and instruments, and diverse themes that change each month. It features a mix of traditional Vietnamese songs, contemporary hits, and even romantic foreign music.

The program tells real-life stories through its music, allowing the audience to experience, enjoy, and appreciate life's precious moments. So far this year, 9  shows of this musical program has been conducted by the Trung Vuong Theater. These shows carried the themes of "The First Love Season", "Unrequited Love", "Igniting Love", "Ex-Lovers", " August Sunsets", "Looking at Autumn Leaves", "Her", "Self-Love", and "Winter Tales".

In their 9^th show themed "Winter Tales," the Trung Vuong Theater’s artists performed 12 beautiful songs that expressed winter feelings across three parts namely winter memories, winter stories, and sunrise tomorrow. Featuring talented singers, 9 shows have attracted hundreds of audience members.

Data published by the Trung Vuong Theater showed that 9 shows have attracted over 6,000 audience members while the theater's Facebook page has received nearly 150,000 interactions. This remarkable achievement has made the ‘Sing with me’ musical program different from other public music events.

Dedicated fans of this musical program have praised its 9 shows for being impressive, yet intimate, and a perfect fit for the APEC Sculpture Park.

A standout success of this program is its attractiveness as this program has captivated young audiences who were willingly spend hours immersed in the musical experience.

Le Huy Hoang, a student of the Dong A University, who has become a regular audience member at three shows, emphasized that "Sing with Me" stands out as a beacon for street music in Da Nang, and deserves to be an sustained and extended event.

The program's team keeps it modern by following musical trends and market preferences.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang, a local resident, who likes the program’s song choices and arrangements, said that the program has taken the audience on a journey of emotions. She described the program as excellent and a great way to enjoy good music in a beautiful setting.

The Theater’s Director Tran Van Hao emphasized that meticulous preparation has gone into each show of the "Sing with Me" program. Stage, sound, and lighting are carefully crafted to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for the audience.

The Theater’s artists have undergone rigorous training to refine their image, vocal skills, stage presence, and audience interaction techniques.

Their dedicated efforts have garnered the program immense support from local residents, with fans eagerly awaiting the next show and sharing their emotions online. Such enthusiasm fuels the artists' drive to constantly innovate, and bring their music to the community.

"Sing with Me" has transformed the APEC Park into a cultural landmark, enhancing the city's artistic scene. Mr Hao stated that the program plays a vital role in modernizing and showcasing the versatility of the Trung Vuong Theater.
