The Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2024 is slated to take place in the campus of the city’s General Library of Science, 46 Bach Dang Street, from February 26 - March 3.

Themed ‘Reading books in spring - learning thousands of good things’, the event is jointly organised by the library, the municipal Youth Union, and the Books 1980 Media and Culture Company.

The 7-day festival aims to affirm the importance of books in social life, as well as encourage and develop a reading culture in the community.

During the forthcoming event, nearly 1,000 copies of the best and newest books will be introduced by the Books 1980 Media and Culture Company to the public at 20 booths.

In addition, there will be an exhibition featuring information resources to celebrate the 93^rd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26).

Besides, the most outstanding entries at the Da Nang Reading Culture Ambassador Contests will be displayed at the event.

Moreover, the festival will feature a wide range of exciting activities, including an art photo exhibition entitled ‘Colours of Da Nang’, interactive games with books, talk shows with many prestigious speakers, and a contest of eloquence on the theme of books. There will be also incentive programmes, and gifts for book buyers.
