As part of the ‘One picture, many hopes’ project - an initiative to help hospital-bound cancer patients stay optimistic and strong while undergoing treatment, the Sunday volunteer programme No. 193 themed ‘Ao dai Festival - Soft silk to Welcome Sunshine’ took place in response to the Ao Dai Week.

Also, the programme aimed to create a positive psychological treatment environment for patients, as well as honour the beauty of Vietnamese women in ‘Ao Dai’ in all circumstances, thereby, helping patients have more joy and motivation to overcome their illness.

The event attracted more than 300 female patients being treated at the Da Nang Oncology Hospital. Accordingly, more than sets of 1,000 ‘Ao Dais’ were donated to female patients from organisations and benefactors.
