Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2024 features 19 fascinating activities
The opening ceremony of the Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2024 themed ‘Summer Waves’ officially kicked off at the city’s East Sea Park on Saturday evening.

The event is annually organised by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches on the Reunification Day and Workers’ Day holiday.
Up to now, it has become an indispensable cultural, sports and tourism event for both locals and tourists on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 holiday.

Held from April 26 - May 1, this year’s event features 19 exciting activities at the East Sea Park and tourist beaches, and on the Son Tra Peninsula. Included are the opening ceremony of the event, the art kite festival, the culinary space, a sand sculpture exhibition, SUP race, yoga and Zumba flashmobs, and a fashion show.
According to Deputy Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches Phan Minh Hai, over the years, the event has gradually become an indispensable product for residents and visitors during the holiday. With a series of activities being held at local beaches and Son Tra Peninsula, the organisers hope to bring people and tourists attractive and memorable experiences in the coastal city.
This year's programme also features activities related to protect natural resources, and forest and marine environments.
