Diverse cultural activities held in Da Nang during April 30 and May 1 holiday
On Saturday evening, the Da Nang Cinema and Culture Centre and its affiliated units and clubs organised a wide range of unique cultural and artistic activities across the city to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1).

The highlight of the activities on the evening was the Street Carnival themed "The Country is Full of Joy" along Tran Hung Dao Street in Son Tra District.
Accordingly, more than 300 dancers and musicians in youthful, colourful costumes performed many vibrant and flexible dances, drawing attention from thousands of people.

An outdoor screening of documentary film called "Dien Bien Memories" and the animated movie "Vo Nguyen Giap" was organized on the sidewalk of Nhu Nguyet Street, Hai Chau District by the Le Do Cinema.
It is known that on the evening of April 28, the Le Do Cinema will continue to screen two films: "The Liberation of Saigon" and "The Angry Jungle" in a bid to meet the needs of movie lovers.
In addition, street music and street magic programmes, and performances of traditional musical instruments were held along both sides of the Han River.
