A beach sports exchange event between Brazilian football legends, staff of the Furama Resort Danang and football fans took place at the resort on Sunday afternoon.

Coach Dunga and the Brazilian players introduced the participants to ‘footvolley’ which is a blend of beach volleyball and soccer and is originated from Brazil. It’s similar to beach volleyball except you can’t use your hands and arms.

The two sides divided into teams and interacted in an atmosphere of enthusiastic cheering from the fans. According to coach Dunga, they had a very fun and exciting footvolley match.

People in Da Nang welcomed the Brazilian players very warmly, and the foreigners were also happy to connect with local people through this kind of sports.

Brazilian football legend Zé Carlos expressed that “I am very happy to participate in the recent Viet Nam - Brazil Football Festival in Da Nang. Da Nang is a beautiful city. I love the city.”

Mr. Gentzsch André Pierre, General Manager of Ariyana Tourism Complex under the Furama Resort Danang, hoped that the beach exchange activity with famous Brazilian legends will contribute to promoting the image of Da Nang to domestic and foreign tourists.
