1,500 people in Da Nang perform flash mob to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

On Sunday evening, at the Bien Dong (East Sea) Park, the Da Nang Women's Union coordinated with armed force units stationed in the city to organise a flash mod exchange programme.

In attendance at the event were Head of the municipal Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee Le Van Trung and Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Council Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

The programme highlighted staged performances recreating the epic song proudly praising the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Along with that, the audience can also enjoy eye-catching and flash mob performances produced by nearly 1,500 officers and soldiers of the armed forces units and members of the local districts’ women union organsations.

This activity celebrated the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024); the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); 134th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024).

Such a programme helped to boost connections between local residents with the armed forces units, as well as promote the cultural beauty and image of the Da Nang people and contribute to building a cultural and civilized urban lifestyle in the city.
