Hotels in Da Nang ready to serve 13th ASEAN Schools Games
The Da Nang Department of Tourism has recently met with directors of hotels, tourist attractions and transportation units across the city to discuss logistics services in preparation for the 13th ASEAN Schools Games.

Accordingly, the department has recognised the great efforts made by directors, managers and staff of hotels and service providers selected by the organising committee for proactively checking, reviewing, and preparing logistics services for the Games.
Through the inspection, the city’s interdisciplinary inspection team has reminded and requested hotels to immediately overcome shortcomings; pay more attention to fire prevention, security, food hygiene and safety, and environmental sanitation at drinking and eating areas; and arrange rooms for medical, security and communication forces.
To ensure security, safety, preparation, and best service for the 13th ASEAN Schools Games, leaders of the Department of Tourism have asked hotels to seriously comply and implement the operating directions and guidance of the organizing committee, competent agencies during the sports event.
The 13th ASEAN Schools Games will attract over 1,300 athletes and coaches from the sports delegations of 10 regional countries, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
The athletes will compete in 107 events of swimming, athletics, badminton, basketball, pencak silat, and vovinam.
