The 6^th edition of the traditional cultural festival of Viet Nam’s Cham ethnic minority people in 2024 is scheduled to take place in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province, from September 27 - 29.

Themed “Preserving and promoting Cham ethnic minority people’s cultural identity in the context of national integration and development", the festival will see the participation of nine provinces and cities nationwide, namely Ninh Thuan, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Binh Thuan, An Giang, Tay Ninh, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

The event will feature a wide range of exciting activities, including rituals of traditional cultural activities of the Cham ethnic minority group; performing and introducing the traditional crafts of brocade weaving and pottery making; mass entertainment festival and performance of Cham ethnic costumes; exhibition on cultural characteristics of the Cham people in the cultural community of Vietnamese ethnic groups; and an exhibition of fine art paintings about Cham culture.

In addition, there will be mass sports and tourism activities such as football, tug of war, stick pushing, a cross-country race, and a workshop entitled "Promoting Cham cultural heritage value in tourism development".
