With a desire to create a useful playground for children aged 6-14 to exchange performance skills and nurturing the love of dance, a dance contest for gifted children took place in Da Nang on Saturday evening.

The contest draws much attention from locals and tourists

Co-organised by the municipal Dance Artists’ Association and the Cultural and Sports Center of Hai Chau District, the contest, themed "Aspiration to fly high", featured a total of 22 dance performances with diverse genres. Each performance lasted from 4-6 minutes.

As a result, two A prizes, worth VND2,000,000 each, two B prizes of VND1,500,000 each, four C prizes of VND1,000,000 each, six Consolation prizes of VND800,000 each, and two Prospect prizes of VND500,000 each were given to outstanding performances.
