The fourth competition night of the ongoing Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 will take place on the evening of June 29 with the performances by Finland and China.

Mr. Johan Dan Erik Hollaender, leader of the the Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB fireworks team from Finland, shared that his team has competed in DIFFs for three times.

One of the biggest challenges for the members of the Finnish fireworks team is that the climate in Da Nang is very different, but that does not stop the team's efforts. To prepare for their performance, the team prepared music and designs consistent with the general theme of fourth competition night "Made of Fairy Tales".

“We will bring to the audiences a fireworks performance called ‘One Million Dreams’. We don't want to unveil too much because we want to surprise the audiences along both banks of the Han River. What we can reveal now is that we have brought to DIFF the best members along with the most thoughtful preparation. We will end our show on European Rock music background. We hope to be able to advance straight to this year’s DIFF final" he expressed.

The Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB fireworks team is one of the highly appreciated teams at this year's DIFF because the team was the champion of DIFF 2019, and was most loved by the audiences at DIFF 2023.

At DIFF 2024, the Finnish team want to bring a newer, stronger and more emotional display to the Da Nang audiences. About 10,000 different types of firecrackers will be utilised in the over 20-minute fireworks show, promising to bring the audience unforgettable experiences.

Meanwhile, the Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display Co.Ltd fireworks team from China is one of three rookies at DIFF 2024. It is one of the leading fireworks enterprises in this country and has attended many big shows in Russia, Germany, and Dubai.

According to Mr. Liang Weiming, leader of the Chinese fireworks team, DIFF is a very famous event in the fireworks arena, so the team also really want to participate in the event.

“We have carefully prepared for our performance on the fourth competition night of DIFF, with modern techniques and more than 4,000 different types of firecrackers. We believe that we are here to bring the audience a performance that is different from what other teams have shown before" Mr. Liang Weiming emphasised.

The fireworks display by the Chinese team will consist of four separate parts, each part designed with different music background, which will help the audiences enjoy a fireworks picture full of freshness and uniqueness in the sky of Da Nang.

Mrs. Nadia Shakira Wong, Director of Global 2000 International Company - the consulting unit for DIFF 2024, remarked that the general theme of DIFF 2024 "Made in Unity - Global Connection - Radiant five continents" aimed to connect people from all over Vietnam, and Vietnamese people with tourists around the world.

“Even though you come from many different cultures and speak different languages, what everyone feels is the spirit of solidarity" she emphasised.

She noted after the fourth competition night, the judges will have to choose the two best teams to compete in the final. Performances will be judged on such criteria as ideas, the selection of music and fireworks effects, the uniqueness and quality of performances, the scale and number of effects, and the emotions of the audiences.
