The third night of the ongoing Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024, which is scheduled to take place on the evening of June 22, is the competition of the fireworks teams from Germany and Poland. With the theme ‘Made of Love’, the upcoming performance night promises to take the audience by surprise with many emotions because this is a theme of great interest, in addition to the two participating teams that are very talented and both of them are X-factors of DIFF 2024.

Having participated in DIFF many times, the Surex Firma Rodzinna Fireworks Team from Poland is familiar with performances on the banks of the iconic Han River. At DIFF 2023, the team from Poland excellently won the Innovation Award.

Mr. Jaroslaw Suzdalewicz, the Captain of the Surex Firma Rodzinna, said that, to prepare for the coming performance at DIFF 2024, the entire team spent 2 months designing the performances and choosing accompanying music.

When arriving in Da Nang, the team spent 5 more days installing firecrackers as well as making other preparations. So far, the team's workload has reached about 70% and the whole team is making every effort to complete the preparation work as soon as possible.

According to Mr. Jaroslaw Suzdalewicz, the first time he came to Da Nang in 2015, the biggest impression left on him was the ‘Rong’ (Dragon) Bridge across the Han River. Because the symbol of the Polish team is also the image of the Dragon, the comming performance's main theme features two main contents: Love and the Dragon symbol.

At DIFF 2024, the way to choose music for the team's performance is similar to previous participations and is aimed at increasing the audience's emotional experience. The team uses music as a means to convey emotions to the audience to see the overall beauty of sound and light.

“Along with sticking to the theme, the team will aim for the audience's emotions. Through fireworks, they can feel music and admire symbolic images of trees, flowers, leaves, sky and dragons, thereby conveying the main message of magical love for nature and people.”, said Mr. Jaroslaw Suzdalewicz.

Since 1995, the team has expanded its range of activities to include fireworks shows as well as laser combinations. It includes the design, organization and implementation of unique solutions for fireworks. The team handles fireworks equipment both on stage, indoors and outdoors, day and night. What sets them apart in the market is their selection of not only publicly available pyrotechnic items, but also their own imports from China, Italy, Germany and Spain which have a wide variety of individual varieties.

Meanwhile, coming to the DIFF playground for the first time, the Pyrogenie Feuerwerk GmbH fireworks team from Germany is considered a big X-factor compared to the remaining teams competing at this year's DIFF edition. With a strong track record in performances worldwide, the German team is well-known to be quite a strong team in producing high-quality standard fireworks as well as designing performances.

Mr. Ingo Schubert, the Managing Director of Pyrogenie Feuerwerk GmbH, up to now, the preparations for the performance are on track. With the theme ‘Made of Love Inspiration’, the team has designed a performance combining music and fireworks to lead the audience to different levels and states of experience such as the origin of love, how to express it through stages.

The team has chosen the music genres that best suit the performance, including a bit of romance and a bit of dynamism to create youthfulness.

“We focus on the exact combination of music and fireworks, and everything must be in harmony and consistent with the effect being performed, only then can we fully express the design ideas of the whole team for the coming performance,” Mr. Ingo Schubert said.

Mr. Tim Hannig, the design engineer of the German team, said: “At DIFF 2024, we will use about 4,000 firecrackers for out team's performance. We also use many different colours and effects during the display. This is the first time attending DIFF, we do not care about winning awards, but with experience in participating in the event and winning awards in other major competitions around the world, the team will make its impressive debut in Da Nang and will not disappoint the audience".

Pyrogenie Feuerwerk GmbH is a Berlin-based fireworks manufacturer and distributor that was founded in 2016. The company specializes in high-quality fireworks and show design, and also imports and sells pyrotechnical products for professional use. Pyrogenie Feuerwerk GmbH's managing director, Ingo Schubert, has worked in pyrotechnics domestically since 2005 and internationally since 2008.

The company has produced products for clients in Germany, Austria, Italy, and China. Pyrogenie Feuerwerk GmbH also creates its own indoor and outdoor shows, and aims to incorporate creativity and aesthetics into their work.

According to Ms. Nadiah Wong Binti Abdullah, the Director of Global 2000 Company, DIFF 2024 consulting unit, DIFF is one of the big playgrounds that many fireworks teams want to join. The selected teams are all very strong with many achievements recorded over the past years.

With a new strategy, the consulting unit has invited 3 new fireworks teams, namely the US, Germany, and China, to participate in DIFF 2024 so as to bring as much as surprise to the audience. The alternating arrangement between the teams that have previously participated or are competing for the first time is also the intention. In fact, along with the teams that have previously attended DIFF, the newcomers are expected to attract the audience at upcoming performance nights.
