The BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang 2024, a tournament of the Asian Development Tour in Viet Nam, is scheduled to take place at the Legend Da Nang Golf Resort from August 29 - 31, attracting 144 professional golfers at both home and abroad.

Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee cum Head of the tournament’s organising board Tran Quoc Cuong made the announcement at the press conference held in the city on Tuesday.

This is the third consecutive time the tournament has been held in Da Nang, contributing to affirming Da Nang's position as "Asia's Leading Event - Festival Destination", as well as marking a crucial milestone in developing the city's golf tourism potential, and making Da Nang become one of the leading golf tourism destinations in Asia and the world, he added.

In 2024, BRG Group will continue to accompany the city as the title sponsor. The total prize money this year will continue to be US$100,000.

Within the framework of the event, representatives from golf tour operators in Taiwan (China), Australia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia will join a famtrip delegation to survey destinations and golf tourism products in the city from August 27 - 30. Additionally, there will be a professional - amateur golf exchange tournament, and a Da Nang tourism experience programme.

Also at the press conference, the Da Nang Department of Tourism signed a cooperation agreement with the BRG Group on organising the tournament, whilst sponsors signed a commitment to support the tournament and side events.
