The non-profit MV titled "Viet Nam join hands", produced by Room89 and Da Nang artists, has been officially released at Starlight Cinema. The musical product honours the spirit of "Mutual love" and "The good leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, it aims to pay tribute to soldiers and people on the frontlines who have contributed their efforts day and night to overcoming the consequences of typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) left for northern provinces.

The event saw the participation of many members of the Da Nang Creative Arts and Entertainment Club (DCAEC). The club was officially established in 2022 under the city's Cultural and Cinema Centre.

After nearly 2 years of operation, DCAEC has become a playground for young people who love cinema in particular and arts in general. It is necessary to mention the club’s positive contribution to the success of the first and second Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF).

Being in charge of the "Premiere and Cinetour" series of activities, the Club has connected Da Nang audiences with famous film crews such as "Dem Toi Ruc Ro", "Thanh Soi", "Em va Trinh", "Rom", "Dao, Pho va Piano" and "Muon Vi Nhan Gian" through exchange sessions and film screenings.

The core of DCAEC is 66s Entertainment - a group of members with their own abilities and roles. Some are good at making music, filming, editing and post-production and writing scripts, whilst others are in charge of makeup. Each person has their own personal work, but still devotes all heart to the collective when embarking on a project.

According to Head of DCAEC Le Vinh, the first product of the 66s Entertainment is the short film "Sunset on the other side of the hill". The film is a story about love and youth, premiered on May 22, 2022 at the Le Do Cinema.

In particular, the soundtrack of the film "Suddenly Realized" composed by Vinh has so far reached more than 100,000 listens on all digital music platforms. In August 2023, the group continued to release the MV of the song "Ben Con La Ki Uc" on the occasion of the Vu Lan Festival. This was a project in which all members participated in the production stages, from writing music and filming to editing.

One of the memorable events of Le Vinh and his friends with the same passion was the talk show "I want to be a director". The activity included a meeting and exchange between Chinese-Canadian director Brian Szeto and more than 100 freelance filmmakers, students, and cinema lovers at the Le Do Theater in October 2022. From this meeting, just a short time later, DCAEC members released the short film "Thien Dieu" with the participation of director Brian Szeto.

With touching content, revolving around the friendship of an orphan girl named Lien and a volunteer named Son, the film won the Excellent Award - Professional Category in the Short Film and Video category of the Intel Creative Fest 2022.

In 2024, the group successfully organised the opera night entitled "An Evening of Opera 2024" at the city-based Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre. Under the general director of Master’s degree holder Tran Tai Tri and the participation of famous international opera and piano artists such as singers Natalia Skryabina and Nguyen Khac Hoa from the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, and Professor Francesco Cipolletta from the Cuneo National Conservatory of Music in Italy. More than 300 tickets were sold out, showing the attraction of the pioneering music show about opera in Da Nang.

"In addition to members from 66s Entertainment, the Club always welcomes people with a great passion for movies", Mr. Vinh shared.

In DCAEC's activities, the main topics always revolve around scripts, filming and editing skills and filmmaking experience. Individual ideas will be analysed, discussed and developed by the group to form new projects.

DCAEC was honoured by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports for completing its tasks well in 2023. For its members, this is the first step in their journey to contribute a fresh colour to the city's cinema and art scene in general. On that journey, young people hope to have more opportunities to learn and improve their skills from professional filmmaking units.

In the coming time, DCAEC will continue to participate and accompany the city's film events, especially DANAFF, and at the same time, cherish the plan to produce short videos to spread the city's image and culture on social media platforms.
