Da Nang launches contest to seek check-in model ideas at beaches
The Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches has launched a contest to design check-in models, aiming to seek ideas for the tourism development of the city and create highlights for local tourism.
The contest is taking place from October 20 until December 20 for Vietnamese citizens or expats working and living in the country, aged 12 and over.
The contest aims to select ideas for unique check-in models along the coastal route and for the coastal flower road in the following years. It creates an annual playground for the community to enhance people’s interaction and contributions to building the image and brand of beautiful, vibrant, and artistic Da Nang beaches.
At the same time, the contest promotes the friendly, vibrant, and attractive tourism brand of Da Nang beaches to domestic and foreign visitors, as well as creates a highly educational and artistic entertainment space for local residents and tourists.
Models shall be installed on Da Nang tourist beaches along the Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa and Nguyen Tat Thanh routes.
Contestants can freely create and express ideas for installation art models that express the cultural, historical, geographical, and social characteristics of Da Nang and the Da Nang tourism brand; and convey messages about environmental protection, especially the marine environment. The expression of ideas can be done through many forms of hand-drawing, colour drawing, electronic drawing, digital 3D models.
The idea must ensure creativity and high artistry in design, promising great potential in attracting media, suitable for visitors to take check-in photos.
Entries must be sent via email: truyenthongbqlst@gmail.com.
The total prize of the contest is nearly VND 60 million. The award ceremony of the contest is expected to be held in December 24, 2024.
