'Music of ABBA' show in Da Nang
The ‘Arrival’ band from Sweden, recognised as the Best ABBA show band in the world, staged the ‘Music of ABBA’ show at the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang on October 9 evening.
The “Music of ABBA” tour is one of the activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Viet Nam-Sweden diplomatic ties. The tour takes place from October 4 - 13 in Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An (Quang Nam Province), Da Nang, Ninh Binh and Ha Noi.

The international music event was performed by the ‘Arrival’ band from Sweden along with the Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra. During the event, the audiences were treated to the 1980s famous top hits such as “Dancing Queen”, “Mamma Mia”, “SOS”, especially "Just a Notion" composed by two members of ABBA Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and presented to Arrival as a recognition for the Best ABBA show band.
The music show also promises to be the perfect boost, creating the premise for attracting international stars the event organisers to Da Nang.
In the 70s of the last century, the ABBA music band became a global music phenomenon with vibrant dances, meaningful lyrics and unique fashion style. Over the years, members of ABBA are no longer healthy enough to be on stage.
However, there are many bands and singers who have covered ABBA's songs, and until now, ABBA's musical works are still enthusiastically received by music lovers of all ages.
The ‘Arrival’ is the only band recognised by Sweden as the successor band of ABBA with the same absolute selection criteria as the original version. They have had spectacular records and are welcomed by hundreds of millions of audiences around the world as the most perfect version of ABBA.
