Bao Nam Tran is one of the most high-end cafés and restaurants in Da Nang.  Walking into the restaurant is like stepping into an old, noble and majestic mandarin mansion, as often seen in Chinese historical films.  However, the U-shaped café, with its impressive structure and decorations, features the traditional Vietnamese culture.

Covering an area of 800m2, Bao Nam Tran café consists of 3 traditional wooden houses from Hue, with their sophisticated patterned carvings, and an escalator at the main entrance to an upper storey.

Customers sitting in this elevated area can get a good view of the city as well as enjoy the airy space and cool breeze.

The restaurant has dark brown as its dominant colour, which gives customers a cozy and familiar atmosphere.

The whole design of the restaurant epitomises a small piece of nature, and includes ornamental trees, bonsais, bridges, aquariums, waterfalls and flowers.  In addition, there are many pen drawings, which depict old calligraphers sitting on pavements, rural markets at Tet festivals, and old towns.

Furthermore, the restaurant also offers a wide range of delicious foods and drinks, focusing on specialities of the central region.  They include My Quang (Quang noodles), Cao Lau (Cao Lau noodles), Banh Quai Vac (fried pork and shrimp dumplings), Bun Bo (beef rice vermicelli), Banh Nam (rice dumpling wrapped in banana leaf), Banh Uot (wet cakes), and Banh Beo (round-cakes).
