Swedish technology in aspects of water supply and wastewater treatment, renewable energy, and biogas production were presented at a seminar entitled “Sustainable Business with Swedish Cleantech” which was recently held in Hoi An City.

Domestic businesses were also introduced to Swedish experiences in environmental management and protection, as well as to the financial mechanisms to fund the trialling and transfer of Swedish technology to Vietnamese partners.

The event was co-organised by the Viet Nam-Sweden Centre for Environmental Technology Cooperation, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, the Viet Nam Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and the Environment, and the Hoi An City People’s Committee.
