Tran Cao Van Primary School crowned champions at National Robothon Competition

One hundred and fifty pupils from over 50 teams, from Robotics clubs in primary schools in Da Nang, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, took part in the 2013 National Robothon Competition.  The event took place on Sunday morning at Da Nang's Military Zone 5 Stadium, 7 Duy Tan Street.

Co-organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the DTT-EDUSPEC Joint-Venture, this year’s event had “Smart City” as its theme.

In the senior category (Years 4 and 5 pupils), the D8 team from Da Nang’s Tran Cao Van Primary School won the 2013 Robothon championship.  The E8 and C6 teams from the same school, and the C8 team from Huynh Ngoc Hue Primary School, came joint second.  The third prizes went to the E1 team from the city’s Huynh Ngoc Hue Primary School, C1 from An Khanh Primary School in Ho Chi Minh City, E4 from Doan Thi Diem Primary School and D1 from the Xuan Dinh School, both in Ha Noi.

In the junior category (Years 1 to 3 pupils), the B3 team from Ha Noi’s Vietkids Primary School were crowned this year’s champions.  The A5 team from Le Ngoc Han Primary School in Ho Chi Minh City and A3 from the Xuan Dinh finished joint second.  The B2 team from Huynh Ngoc Hue Primary School and A1 from the Doan Thi Diem came joint third.
