New Centre for Integrated Circuitry opens

The Da Nang Department of Information and Communications recently inaugurated its new Centre for Integrated Circuitry (CENTIC).

Located at 15 Quang Trung Street, the new centre conducts research on technologies to develop integrated circuitry (IC) and embedded systems (ES).  Special attention is also paid to applying IC and ES for communication devices, electronic appliances, and industrial production lines.

In addition, a focus is on transferring research results on IC and ES to individuals and organisations at home and abroad.  The aim is to help them to apply these results to develop their production and improve the quality of their lives.  Top priority is also given to training IC and ES human resources for those who demand them.

Addressing the event, the municipal People's Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Phung Tan Viet, promised that the local authorities would create very favourable conditions to facilitate the centre’s operation.  Vice Chairman Viet asked for more assistance from consultants to help the centre to develop effective and highly-applicable products.
